Hi, Jacque!
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question. I know it must have been disappointing when your plans to visit the theme parks were put on hold last year. I’m sure you’ve been looking forward to the day you can step into the magic of the
Disneyland Resort!
Don’t worry, Jacque. The good news is that many
theme park ticket expiration dates were extended. Most unused, non-promotional tickets that were set to expire during the theme park closures now have an expiration date of December 16, 2021. Link your tickets to your Disney account on
Disneyland.com or the
Disneyland mobile app to verify their current expiration date. Once you have valid tickets linked, you can make a
theme park reservation online for your group to visit the parks, pending availability.
However, if you find that the extended expiration date will arrive before you’re able to travel to the resort, you should still be able to use the amount you paid for the tickets as credit toward the purchase of new tickets. If you have any issues linking the tickets to your account or have other questions regarding the expiration date extension, please call (714) 781-4636 to speak with a Cast Member.
I hope this helps you, Jacque, and that you’re able to visit the Happiest Place on Earth soon! Do you have any other planning questions? Please don’t hesitate to send them our way!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
