What happens if you show up late for a fast pass attraction?

Hi Bernice! This is a great question and one all guests should know the answer so they will not be disappointed during their wonderful Disney vacations.

Each guest is allowed to choose their three FastPass+ selections for one park each day of their visit. The times will be in increments of one hour and they cannot overlap. Some guests choose to have an hour or so between their FastPass times and other guests want those hours to be right after each other. That choice of timing is yours and be sure and remember to fit your meal time in too.

The FastPass time is an hour block where you can decide when to return to enjoy the attraction. If you are in a hurry you can actually be allowed in five minutes ahead of your time. We have had to do this a few times when we knew getting to a dining reservation was going to be tight. When you are running late and your FastPass time is about up you are given a 15 minute window past the time to get there. Disney understands that sometimes you can be in crowds or a previous attraction has issues which delayed you so they built in this fifteen minute window. However, once this fifteen minutes has passed you cannot use that FastPass.

I hope this helps explain the timing of a FastPass!
