Hi Emily,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am a big fan of all of the Special Events that occur in Magic Kingdom Park.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are fantastic ways to celebrate fun holidays with family and friends.
Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park is an incredible opportunity to experience the parks with a smaller crowd. Finally,
Disney Villains After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park puts the emphasis on our frightful friends for the evening with special entertainment, some enhanced attractions, photo opportunities, and themed treats.
If you make a dining reservation during one of these Special Events, you will need valid park admission in order to keep your reservation. If
Magic Kingdom Park closes at 6 P.M. and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party begins at 7 P.M. and you make an advanced dining reservation at
Cinderella's Royal Table at 8 P.M., you will need to purchase a party ticket.
You might be able to make an advanced dining reservation that would begin before Magic Kingdom Park closes for day guests but would last into the time the Special Event is scheduled to begin. In that case, after your dinner Cast Members will direct you to the exits. For example, let's say Magic Kingdom Park closes for day guests plus Disney Villains After Hours begins at 10 P.M. and you have an advanced dining reservation for
Be Our Guest Restaurant at 9:30 P.M. You will be able to enjoy your meal and savor the experience just as you would on any other night. Once you leave the restaurant, Cast Members will gently direct you to the exits.
Emily, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H.
