What happens if you make a reservation for 3 but only 1 person shows up? The candlelight processional dining package only shows up if you have 3 or more and another restaurant I want to eat at shows only reservation for 3 but not for 1.

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Pamela. I'm so glad you stopped by! Let's chat about your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Candlelight Processional is my absolute favorite offering at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. This beautiful retelling of the traditional Christmas story always moves me to tears! Pairing Candlelight Processional with an incredible meal is sure to make for a magical and (merry!) day at EPCOT. To answer your question, if just one person in your party arrives for a dining reservation, you will not be charged the per-person, no-show fee for the other Guests in the party.

Candlelight Processional Dining Packages are available to book for parties smaller than 3 Guests. You can adjust your party size by selecting the plus or minus sign before clicking on the 'Search Times' button on the screen to make a reservation. If you're unable to find an available reservation time for a party of just 1, I recommend booking for a party of 3 (or whatever number you are able to secure a reservation for). Once the reservation is booked, you can modify it by removing the Guests who will not be attending. That way, you are opening up dining package availability for other Walt Disney World Resort Guests!

The Walt Disney World Resort is always magical, but exceptionally so during the holiday season. As you're counting down the days to your Christmastime visit, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. It's your best resource for news and updates about Disney Parks and destinations! When new holiday offerings for this year are announced, you'll see that news posted on the Disney Parks Blog.

I hope this was helpful, Pamela. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Disney vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
