Hey there, Benedicta!
Welcome to
planDisney! You’ve come to the right place especially since I’ve recently returned from a rainy day trip myself.
Let’s start with a few things you’ll want to pack and bring along with you. First is footwear, you’ll want to pick out some shoes that you’ll feel most comfortable in if they get wet. I attempted to avoid puddles but my shoes didn’t stay dry. (Note to self, invest in rain booties). I also recommend a rain jacket, or poncho, to help keep you dry. I usually pack a purse umbrella, as well, to help keep my bag dry since I prefer a rain jacket instead of a rain poncho.
Next, you’ll want to plan for a midday break. That way you can take a moment to return to your hotel room and dry. I suggest
opening the park, enjoying as many
attractions as you can, then taking a break to refresh. Hopefully, the rain will clear up a bit so that you can return later and maybe stay somewhat dry.
As far as the attractions go, you’ll still be able to enjoy most. If the weather worsens, or it becomes unsafe for attractions to operate, you might experience some temporary ride closures. Take this time to
eat, enjoy a different attraction, or
shop. Remember, any indoor experience will help you dry off a bit!
Benedicta, I hope this helps answer your question!
Enjoy your rainy day and if there’s anything else you need, we’re all EARs!
