What happens if I purchase park tickets from our military base but then I check park availability and there are no reservations? Is the ticket purchase tied to concurrent dates can the reservation skip a day or two due to availability?

Hi Carla, and welcome to planDisney!

I am a fan of the Disney Military Salute Ticket and the benefits it provides to the Eligible Service Members and their families.

You do not have to use the Disney Military Salute Tickets for consecutive days because of how the theme park tickets are structured. As long as the tickets are used by the noted expiration date, you are free to plan as you see fit.

If you have dates you would like to visit but are unable to because the day is sold out, there may be a chance to visit your desired theme park later on the day. It will require you to make a theme park reservation for another park and then “hop” to the theme park you originally wanted after 2:00 PM (as long as they are not at capacity). You will need to visit the reserved theme park before you visit the one later in the day.

Please let us know if you have further questions; we are here if you need us.

    Have a magical getaway!
