Hiya there, Maryam! Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you're planning a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth!
planDisney is here to help! I'm glad you found us here.. and if you have any additional questions throughout the planning process, don't be a stranger! You've got a friend in us!
If you purchase a ticket and are unable to make it, you will not lose your ticket.
Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are, however, non-refundable, so you'll need to find a new time to visit! If you purchased a one-day ticket since the Disneyland Resort reopened after shutting down during the pandemic, your ticket is valid through December 30, 2022. So, it looks like you have plenty of time to use it! If you are unable to use it by this date, you can apply the value of the wholly, unused ticket to a new ticket purchase, as long as the new ticket is of equal or greater value.
Maryam, I do suggest canceling your
theme park reservation as soon as you do know that you won't make it. Many days are fully booked for park reservations, and Guests far and wide would gladly scoop up yours once you cancel it. It will be your way of spreading a little pixie dust to fellow Guests! To cancel your theme park reservation, head on over to the Disneyland Resort Website. Hover over the "My Disneyland" icon and click "Ticket and Reservation Details." Scroll down to "View My Park Reservations." Click "Cancel Reservation" and follow the prompts to complete the process.
Have a magical day,
Ashley
