Hi Mitchell,
Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question! I know when I am planning for my vacation I am always thinking “what if” for every situation that can occur. Unfortunately, getting sick on vacation can happen, so it is not wrong to be prepared!
First, if a member of your travel party is feeling unwell and needs to see a health care provider, there are a few options. If you are in the theme park, you can visit the
First Aid center in each of the theme parks to speak with a nurse. If you are in your Disney Resort hotel, you can request in-room medical services by calling the Front Desk of your Resort. Guests can also receive
complimentary transportation to a Centra Care Urgent Care clinic. This service can be arranged through the First Aid center in the theme parks, at the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel, or by calling the
number listed for AdventHealth. You may be responsible for fees associated with care provided by these services.
Now let’s talk about what happens to your theme park tickets if you get sick. Theme Park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. However, if you are unable to use your theme park tickets on your scheduled date, you may be able to change the date on your tickets
if they have not expired. You can make this change in your My Disney Experience account or by calling a Cast Member at the number listed under “
Existing Tickets.”
I hope this helps with your planning, Mitchell. If you have any more questions, we’re here to help at planDisney!
