What happens if one of our party is unable to make it to a dining reservation we have made?

    Hi Bekki!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Dining at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite activities. I can't decide whether I like the food or the attractions better.

Usually if you make a dining reservation that requires a credit card guarantee, and you do not show up for the reservation, there will be a $10 charge per person in the party. However, in my experience, if we make a reservation for a group of people, and one person can't make it, then there's no charge as long as someone checks in for the reservation. Sometimes plans change or someone isn't feeling well, and we've never had a problem. Just inform the host when checking in at your restaurant.
