What happens once you exceed the allotted table service meals you're dining plan allows?

Hello Lewanne and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I absolutely love the Disney Dining Plan. I do not like worry and budget at each meal while on vacations. With the Disney Dining Plan all I need to keep track of is how many entitlements we have left. Each time you purchase a meal with your Disney Dining Plan, you will get a receipt that shows how many entitlements you have left. Depending on your specific Disney Dining Plan choice, you will have a set amount of Table and/or counter service and snack entitlements you will receive for your stay. I strongly suggest making Advanced Dining Reservations starting 180 days before your arrival date. This will assure you will not only have a seat at the restaurant of your choice, but that you will also only book enough Table Service restaurants that you are allowed on your Disney Dining Plan. If you are extra hungry during your Magical vacation and you find you need more meals, you would just simply pay the amount shown on the menus for your food selections. I find, however that the Disney Dining Plan is more than enough food and we usually have a snack or two left that we use for prepackaged items we can snack on during the trip home.

    Have a magical day, Lewanne!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
