Hi there, Rosalyn!
From one Annual Passholder to another, welcome to planDisney! How cool is it that we get to spend so much of our free time at The Most Magical Place on Earth? There's nothing like a spontaneous Disney trip to catch a parade on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park or taking a nighttime stroll through
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at EPCOT.
When you
renew your Disney Pixie Dust Pass, it will feel a bit like magic because it's a seamless process. I spoke to a sweet Cast Member to get a confirmed response, and she said that you will have to update your
Disney MagicMobile Service digital annual pass in your Google Wallet whenever you renew. You will also receive a new Annual Passholder physical card if you request one from a Guest Relations location on property.
AN EXTRA GEM: I've renewed my own annual pass quite a few times now, and I don't recall needing to update my digital wallet, so you may not need to do much of anything at all! However, to enter the theme parks with some peace of mind, replace it anyways before your first new term's visit.
By the way, you'll want to renew your annual pass itself up to 60 days before and no more than 30 days after its expiration date. You can renew online on the Walt Disney World Resort website or the
My Disney Experience App, at the theme parks or
Disney Springs at a Guest Relations location, or on the phone (unless you decide to use the Monthly Payment Program).
Rosalyn, please
give us another holler here at planDisney if you have any other questions about your annual pass or anything your heart desires. I'm always in the mood to talk about all-things-Disney!
Magic always,
LeAndra
