What happens New Years Eve at Disney parks

    Hey Kristina!

On New Year's Eve, Disney parks become vibrant hubs of celebration, where there seems to be a party everywhere you look! New Year’s Eve in my opinion is one of the best days to experience the magic at the Walt Disney World Resort.

EPCOT lights up with electric energy as dusk falls, with live DJs pumping out beats, inviting guests to dance beneath the starry sky. You'll find people dancing the night away and you can sip and savor some of your favorite flavors around World Showcase while raising a toast to the year ahead. And when the clock strikes midnight, prepare for a dazzling fireworks display painting the night sky in brilliant colors, kicking off the arrival of a new year in classic Disney fashion!

At the Magic Kingdom Park, in the past years, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade spreads holiday cheer not once, but twice! You’ll find dance parties throughout and amidst twinkling lights and festive decorations, guests are treated to the most enchanting spectacle of all: Fantasy in the Sky fireworks, a breathtaking finale to an unforgettable year.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park still offer some celebration but these Theme Parks are a bit more low-key.

Even though the celebration is amazing, navigating the crowds requires quite a bit of patience! I strongly suggest that once you enter a Theme Park, you do so with the intention of spending the rest of the day in that park since capacity limits are often reached on New Year's Eve.

So, dust off your dancing shoes, secure your spot for the parade and fireworks displays, and get ready for an epic celebration where Disney magic meets the excitement of New Year's Eve!
