what happens if i need to cancel for my 11/24 trip - cut open my hand and pulled out my back

Hi Michele, welcome to planDisney.  I'm so sorry to hear about your mishap!

Understandably, plans can change for unforeseen circumstances like yours.  When you booked your Walt Disney World Vacation Package, there was a Terms and Conditions link that included the modification and cancellation policies.  I recommend reading that in detail before making any changes to your reservation.  In general (and subject to change), cancelations made 30 days or more before your arrival date will be refunded (minus any cancellation fees that a third-party hotel or other suppliers may have assessed, and non-refundable travel protection plan costs).  If you must cancel and your arrival date is less than 30 days away, fees will be assessed per the Terms and Conditions.

If you made a room-only reservation, the cancellation policy states you may cancel 5 days in advance of your arrival date without penalty, subject to change.

Michele, please note that if you cancel, you will need to cancel any dining reservations or other experiences separately.  You should be able to cancel any of those reservations you made easily in My Disney Experience, under "My Plans." Of course, if you need assistance with canceling any of your reservations, you can call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to speak to a Cast Member directly.

I hope you are feeling better soon.  Take care.
    Diane
