What happens if we may have been exposed to Covid and need an extension for our tickets??

    Hello, Danielle,

I’m sorry to hear about your situation. I hope you are as well as can be.

While standard multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days after the first use, there may be a way to extend the ticket validity by upgrading it to a different ticket type of equal or greater value. Usually, the expiration date of a ticket remains the same, even when upgrading it. However, there are currently two types of Disneyland Resort theme park admission that may allow for an effective extension of the current ticket’s expiration. These ticket types are the current Southern California resident ticket offer and the Disneyland Resort Magic Key pass.

The Southern California Resident Weekday Ticket Offer is available to residents of Southern California within ZIP codes 90000-93599. This type of ticket expires May 26, 2022. If your current ticket is allowed to be upgraded to this type, you may be able to gain some more time to enjoy more visits to the Disneyland Resort. To inquire about upgrading theme park tickets to another ticket type, you may inquire at a Main Entrance ticket booth. To verify eligibility, you may also wish to call the Tickets phone line or initiate a chat in the Disneyland mobile app.

Upgrading a standard theme park ticket to a Disneyland Resort Magic Key pass effectively updates the expiration date to one year from the first day of use of the original ticket. The Magic Key option also unlocks a year’s worth of benefits as a member of the Magic Key holder family. To upgrade your ticket to Magic Key, use the “Tickets and Passes” screen in the Disneyland mobile app. Eligible tickets will be accompanied by a button that says “Upgrade to a Magic Key Pass.” Tap that button to extend the magic even more! Be sure to complete the upgrade from theme park ticket to Magic Key before the end of the last day of validity for the ticket.

We’d love to hear from you again if you have any more requests, Danielle. I hope things go well to get you back on your way to return to the Disneyland Resort.
