What happens if a manage a desired walk up reservation but then subsequently need to cancel a previous reservation within the 24Hr window? Will I be charged a cancelation fee or can a cast member help me avoid the fee?

    Hello Jodi!

I love trying different restaurants at Walt Disney World during my vacations! My goal is to dine at all the Walt Disney World restaurants eventually.

Securing an Advanced Dining Reservation at a popular Walt Disney World restaurant is a thing to be celebrated! If you are within the 24-hour window of your Advanced Dining Reservation and you decide to cancel it, you will be charged a cancellation fee per person. If you think you won't be able to go to your Advanced Dining Reservation, I recommend that you cancel it before the 24-hour window starts to avoid the fee. If you are trying for a walk-up reservation at another restaurant, my tip is to choose another meal (like breakfast or dinner if your Advanced Dining Reservation is for lunch) to get a walk-up reservation so you will not have to cancel your original Advanced Dining Reservation.

I hope you have many magical meals on your next Walt Disney World vacation!
