What happens if you are late for an ADR?

    Hey, Kacie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Dining at Walt Disney World Resort is like a trip around the world. You can find any cuisine for the most adventurous palates.

Hakuna Matata means "no worries" and is how Disney Cast Members have always treated us when we have arrived a little late for our dining reservations. We have been late a couple of times to our dining reservation with one time almost 60 minutes late due to a broken monorail. While Disney is not obligated to seat you if you miss your dining time they are overwhelmingly accommodating and understanding. I would approach the Cast Member at the check-in podium and calmly explain your situation. They may not be able to seat you immediately but will try their best. The fact that you showed up is the most important.

Guests who miss their reservation and no show will be charged a "$10 per person cancellation and/or no show fee" so please show up. (cancellation fee subject to change)

Disney Dad Tip: Dining reservations may be made 180 days advance provided there is availability at your desired time. Please reserve a table for your party either online or by contacting a Cast Member at 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). Some dining experiences such as Cinderella's Royal Table and Garden Grill book very quickly so don't hesitate to book a reservation. Online reservations open at 6:00 a.m. EST while phone in reservations begin at 7:00 a.m. EST.

Kacie, enjoy making many unforgettable Magical Memories!
