What happens if your hotel has check out at 11am, but your flight is not until 7pm. What are suppose to do? and what happens to your luggage?

    Hi Marissa!

Thanks for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! Our family always tries to book a flight in the late afternoon or early evening so we can get the most out of your final day at Walt Disney World Resort! The night before your check-out, you will receive a Transportation Notice on your room door notifying you of the departure time for Disney's Magical Express. You can expect it to leave approximately 3 hours prior to your flight for domestic flights and 4 hours prior to your flight for international flights. If you are flying on one of the participating airlines, you can take advantage of Resort Check-In, where you can check in to your flight, check your bags, and receive your boarding passes all in the morning at your resort so you are free to enjoy your day. If you aren't flying one of those airlines, you can check your bags with Bell Services during the day and pick them up to take them with you for your departure on Disney's Magical Express.

For your final day, there are so many options for your family to get one last dose of Disney magic.  If you have park tickets for the day, you can enjoy a morning and early afternoon catching your favorite attractions at the parks! Your final day is also a great opportunity to enjoy some of the things at the Walt Disney World Resort outside of the parks. Enjoying breakfast at 'Ohana, some final shopping at Downtown Disney and exploring some of the hotels on property are a great way to end a wonderful family vacation!

    Have a magical day!
