Welcome to planDisney Wanda!
I am so sorry you need to cancel your Walt Disney World
theme park tickets. But I understand that plans change, so let's get you all set so you can cancel - then I will share the good news!
Feel free to cancel your tickets, or simply leave them in your
My Disney Experience account. Unused tickets, even once expired, will hold their value. Here is where the good news comes in....When you are ready to rebook your visit to Walt Disney World,
give a call to a friendly Cast Member who will be happy to use that ticket value toward new tickets for an upcoming vacation. This will certainly give you something to look forward to!
Just a few reminders. If you use even one day of your tickets, they will expire. However, if unused they will not lose their value. Also, do not worry if you do not see your Theme Park Tickets listed in your My Disney Experience account once they are past the original expiration date. They are still there; you just need to call to apply the ticket value toward your new purchase. I like to keep a note of the date of purchase, original dates of the tickets, confirmation number, and which credit card I used.
One other reminder: Cancel any other reservations that you may have made including
dining reservations, hotel reservations, or theme park reservations. This can all be easily done on your My Disney Experience account.
I hope you are able to reschedule your visit to Walt Disney World. Mickey, Minnie, and the gang cannot wait to "see ya real soon!"
