Welcome, Foolish Mortal! The spooky season is one of the most spirited times to visit Walt Disney World Resort. My heart skips a beat whenever I think about a trip during the fall.

Gillian, like you, I am be-headed to Magic Kingdom Park on a day when the Ghost Host welcomes Guests to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I hope my experience holds and the park is a little quieter during the day. Guests with event tickets will breathe more life into the Magic Kingdom starting at 4 p.m. when they can enter and get the party started a little early. The Magic Kingdom will remain open until 6 p.m. for Guests who spent their day in the shadows of Cinderella Castle.

Your day does not have to come to a dead end when the Magic Kingdom closes at 6 p.m. for the party. If you are looking for plans for the rest of the evening, I'd suggest making a dinner reservation at one of the resorts in the Magic Kingdom area. Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort or Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are a few of many phenomenal options. After dinner, you can head to the beaches of these resorts for a view of Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. The resorts pipe in the music so you can feel the fireworks in your bones!
