What happens if there is extremely rainy weather during the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (September)? A little rain doesn't bother us but an all out downpour would be a bummer. Will Disney honor the tickets for a party later in the week?

    Hi Ellen!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a rain or shine event.  While rain can be a bummer, we've enjoyed MANY a party in the drizzle, rain, and even EXTREME downpours!  In fact, back in 2005 we attended a party as the outer bands of a hurricane (I believe it was Wilma) came through!  The party still went on!

Disney adapts to weather changes in an instant and is used to the typical central Florida weather, and most of the activities are not impacted by the weather.  Parades and fireworks shows can be postponed until the weather clears up, as they are used to the quickly passing storms.

Be sure to pack your rain gear and hope for the best!  Our motto is:  "a rainy day at Disney is still better than a day anywhere else!"

    Have a magical vacation!
