What happens if you don't arrive at the right time you booked to enter the park?

Hiya there, Sharon! Welcome to planDisney, and Happy New Year! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question.

I absolutely love the new Park Pass reservation system, because it helps me stay organized and it lets me plan in advance for everything that I'd like to do on a given day! Those who know me will tell you that I can be a little bit obsessive when planning a Disney vacation (ha!), and I was known to change my mind countless times before our family trips. But with this new system in place, I can book my Park Pass reservations, make my advanced dining reservations and start planning my itinerary without having to worry about anything else... 'Hakuna Matata', right, Sharon?

On that note, I am pleased to let you know that, once you have made your Park Pass reservations and you've made sure that you can see them reflected on your My Disney Experience mobile app, you certainly do not have to arrive at the front gate at a specific time of day. There have been countless times when I have made Park Pass reservations to enter one of the four theme parks on the day that my family and I land in Orlando. On one occasion, I even walked into Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park one hour before park close!

Sharon, I hope my answer has helped ease your mind a little bit. It sounds like you're a meticulous planner (just like me!), so I know just how valuable it is to have every single tiny detail figured out and ready to go. I truly hope your Disney vacation is practically perfect in every way! And please don't hesitate to come back with any other questions you might have.

    Until next time,

    Ana Paula
