What happens if we have dining reservations guaranteed by a credit card and half of our party don't show up? My family all going together in August, but my sister isn't sure if she can make the meal.

Hi Monica! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

It is my understanding that when booking a dining reservation that is required to have a credit card on file to guarantee the reservation, you will be charged a fee for whomever doesn’t show up to the meal. The fee has been $10 per person and is subject to change at any time.

One thing to keep in mind is that you are able to cancel your dining reservation or potentially even call and remove a person up to 11:59 Eastern Time on the day before your arrival. Hopefully by that point your sister would know for sure whether she is able to make it or not!

I hope that your sister will be able to join you for a fun family meal! Have a magical vacation!
