Hi Jasmin!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney and sending this
Disneyland Resort planning question to us hEAR!
First off, you have a great name. I didn't realize I was in the company of Royalty! I'm not going to lie, I very much miss the days when I could wake up and decide to head to
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park if I didn't have other plans. (That of course was pre-covid and pre-me moving. Now that I live in Texas, spontaneous trips are a bit more complicated!)
The official answer is it depends on what kind of
theme park admission tickets you have. Mickey certainly understands that things happen and life gets in the way. However, it's never too late to cancel a
Park Pass Reservation, even if it's the morning or mid-afternoon of. Still,
Magic Keyholders who 'no show' three times within one month (30-days) will sadly not be able to book any more
reservations for the next 30-days, and any
existing reservations during that time frame will be auto-magically canceled as well.
If you purchased a
single or multi-day ticket and can no longer visit Mickey's house, there isn't the same kind of penalty that Keyholders face, however, it's a lot harder to make up that missing day. Multi-day tickets (2-day, 3-day, etc) expire within so many days after the first day of use. (It's usually two weeks.) But,
Park Pass Reservations are regularly booked up solid a few weeks out of each Disney Day, and it's sometimes impossible to find a last-minute opening to make up a missed day. (Check out the
Park Pass Reservation Calendar hEAR.) 1-Day Theme Park Admission Tickets can simply be rescheduled to visit on another day; however, keep in mind that
1-Day Tickets are subject to tier-based pricing and schedules, so if you bought a ticket to originally use on a tier-2 day but now you'd like to switch to a tier-4 day, you'll have to first call to upgrade your ticket before you can rebook your Disney day.
I hope that this helped to clEAR your question up, Jasmin! Be sure to check out the
