Hello, Erik, welcome to planDisney, we thank you for this important question.
While I am happy to hear that you will be joining the
50th Anniversary Celebrations at Walt Disney World Resort, I completely understand and empathize with your situation, as an international traveller myself. As the current
health and safety measures and operational guidelines continually evolve, we must all continue to remain diligent and astute with our travel plans.
Concerns with flight cancellations are of utmost consideration in conjunction with Walt Disney World Resort reservations, therefore I highly recommend that you reach out to our
Help Center if you have already attempted to
modify your reservation to a later date in your Disney account. The Disney reservations agent will be able to assist you fully, presenting you with many options to consider and decide upon. Erik, I would suggest that you contact someone as soon as possible to apprise yourself well, and therefore be in the position to make an informed and sound decision.
Erik, if you do happen to cancel your reservation, please ensure that all
Disney Park Pass and
Disney Dining reservations have been released by going into your
My Disney Experience account, or app, in consideration of those Guests who are actively seeking such reservations during the same timeframe as your current reservation.
Keep abreast of all upcoming
magical experiences in the event you decide to book a future visit. I look forward to my daily readings from our official
Disney Parks Blog, our digital resource for Disney-related news and information, such as the newly released
River Cruises by Adventures by Disney, for example.
I hope this information is helpful to you, Erik, and I wish you all the best with your modifications. Please reach out to us with any further questions you may have.
Best Disney Wishes ~ Jacqueline
