What happens if you buy your tickets but cannot get a reservation for the days that you bought your ticket for?

    Hi there, Lois!

    Thanks for visiting planDisney.

I'm so excited to see you have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation planned for October. What a magical time it will be, as The World's Most Magical Celebration begins on October 1, celebrating Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary!

During this time of phased reopening, Walt Disney World requires all Guests ages 3 and older have both valid admission and a Disney Park Pass reservation to enter a specific theme park on a specific date. Prior to purchasing Theme Park TIckets, guests are strongly encouraged to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to make sure the parks they'd like to visit are available for their specific dates. Park Pass reservations are limited and subject to availability.

Once you've confirmed availability, then it's time to purchase Theme Park Tickets! There are several options available, including tickets with the Park Hopper option, Water Park and Sports option, or Park Hopper Plus option. I love the Park Hopper option, as it allows you to visit more than one theme park per day - even all four parks if you're feeling adventurous! Guests are allowed to "hop" to a second park after 2 pm, after visiting the first park where the Park Pass reservation was booked. Park Hopping is subject to capacity restrictions, and Walt Disney World has a Park Hopper Hotline number guests can call at any time to check the capacity of the four theme parks: (407) 560-5000. I encourage you to choose the best tickets to suit your travel party's vacation style and budget.

I hope you're able to find availability to visit the parks of your choice during your trip. If you don't see availability for a specific park on the date you'd like to visit, I encourage you to keep checking the Theme Park Availability calendar, as it is always subject to change.

Thanks for stopping by with your question. Here at planDisney, we are moms, dads, and more, who are guests, just like you! We love sharing tips and advice from experiences we've had on our own personal Walt Disney World vacations to help add a dash of extra magic to yours.
