Welcome back to planDisney, Lori! Thanks so much for trusting us with all of your questions about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort! It looks like you'll be arriving as the parks transition into their
holiday best; what a magical time of year to be at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
I'm not sure if you'll be visiting
Cape May Cafe for
Minnie's Beach Bash breakfast buffet or for the
Seafood-And-More dinner buffet, but no matter which buffet you plan to enjoy, and no matter what time your reservation is booked for, you will be able to enjoy the complete dining experience promised on each of the posted menus.
Lori, we often try to book later seating options for character breakfasts on days we don't plan to visit the theme parks - it allows us a chance to sleep in before enjoying a meal with some familiar faces! We also find that the later seatings are a little less busy and our character interactions and visits don't feel as rushed! Minnie's Beach Bash offers a buffet of favorites like eggs and bacon and waffles and french toast alongside an omelette station and a carving station! I'm sure you won't leave hungry!
We also have been known to book late dining reservations so we maximize our time in the parks before heading to dinner. The New England-inspired dinner buffet at Cape May Cafe features some seafood favorites alongside chicken and strip loin for a little variety! Be sure to save room for dessert!
Lori, I hope this helps, and I hope you enjoy your dining experience at Cape May Cafe! Be sure to check out the progress of the gingerbread display at
Disney's Beach Club Resort when you stop in for your dining experience! If you have any other planning questions before your visit, come back to
planDisney and let us know! We're always happy to help you make some magic!
See you real soon,
Alison
