Andrea! Welcome, welcome, welcome to the most magical place on the internet for answers to Disney vacation questions, planDisney. Your question has me soaring like Aladdin on Magic Carpet about you becoming a Walt Disney World Passholder.
Yes, you can apply the cost of unused
Theme Park tickets when you upgrade to an annual pass. Tickets are non-refundable so you definitely want to apply the cost to your annual pass purchase. Since you are a Florida resident you have access to purchase any annual pass level. Non-Residents may only purchase the Disney Incredi-Pass and Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members may purchase the Disney Incredi-Pass and the Disney Sorcerer Pass. If you already have
theme park reservations associated with your tickets,
speak with Cast Member to help you move your theme park passes over to your new annual pass so there is no disruption to your trip. Of course, you may also do this yourself.
planDisney Pro Tip: Once you get your annual pass, be sure to create a
Disney MagicMobile Pass so you can seamlessly enter the theme parks and
Lightning Lane entrances, and show proof that you are a Passholder for food and merchandise discounts.
Annual Passholder Benefits can be huge savings!
Andrea, I hope this information helps you. Please

Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
