What happened to the frozen Margarita stand by Mexico in epcot, will it be replaced?

    Hi Doris,

Good news! Margaritas and other Mexican beverage and food fare are scheduled to return to a new location in the Mexico pavilion soon. The new Choza Tequila is under construction across from La Cantina de San Angel. I tried my best to get a glimpse of the progress when I was at Epcot a couple of weeks ago, but I couldn't tell how close it might be to opening. The Disney Parks Blog announcement about it said it would open in early 2017, so I'm hoping that means soon.

Meanwhile, frozen margaritas are available at La Cantina de San Angel. And La Cava del Tequila, inside the Mexico pavilion, of course, has a large selection of margaritas.

If you're a margarita fan, Doris, you must try the blood orange jalapeno margarita at Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs. It's currently my favorite in all of Walt Disney World and is available in the restaurant and at the takeout window.

Thanks for your question, Doris. Please check back with the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any other questions before your next visit. Cheers!
