Hi Robyn!
Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you'll get to chEAR on your Mouseketeer at Walt Disney World Resort! Summit is an annual event held at Walt Disney World Resort, and it was one of the first major events I resEARched for guests like yourself when I first joined the Disney Parks Moms Panel! While I haven't attended this event myself, and there is always a chance the competition hosts could change things up in the future, yes, a Disney Dining Plan can be added to your reservation, but it will take a bit of work.
As long as you're staying in a Disney Resort Hotel, you should be able to add a
Disney Dining Plan to your stay. However, this last year all reservations were coordinated by Varsity, who only distributed the imperative reservation information at the in-person package pick-up. Since the reservation info wasn't available until the last minute, those attending didn't have a way to reference their reservation to add a Dining Plan. The work-around we discovered was to look at the string of numbers on your My Disney Experience luggage tags. The Disney Resort Hotel Phone Line will be able to look you up that way. Their phone number is (407) 939-1936.
Disney Dining Plans can be added to a reservation all the way up until 72 hours before your check-in date, but you can always make
Dining Reservations starting 180 days in advance of your visit. I'd go ahead an make any reservations to any highly desired restaurants you have now, which can always be canceled later as you find out more about your events. And check out more
Disney Parks Moms Panel answers about Summit that previous parents have asked and received.
We'll See You Real Soon, Robyn!
