We'll be hanging out at the waterparks when we're there in June. Can water shoes be worn on the slides? What about glasses (I'm blind without them) If not, where do we store these? I imagine it's going to be very hot walking around there in bare feet.

    Hi Lorraine,

I have visited the Water Parks in WDW many, many times and I can tell you that I have always worn some type of water shoes and never had a problem.  It can get very hot on your tootsies for sure and both my daughter and myself could not have walked on that cement in the summer without our water shoes on.  I have seen many other guests wear these shoes as well, so you should be fine.

I am also blind without my glasses and as long as they fit quite snug on you, you should not lose them (I have never had any problems apart from them getting wet and having to wait for them to dry before seeing perfectly again).  Just in case you need anything stored while you are enjoying the Water Parks, they do offer lockers which you can rent.  Have a wonderful time in June....enjoy!

    Best wishes,
