Bright Suns, Scott and welcome to planDisney!
As I gaze out at the starlit terrain of Black Spire Outpost on nights full of intriguingly-dressed visitors to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, I am always surprised by how elaborate and realistic these outfits have become here and usually wonder what it must be like to wear them under the blazing three suns of Batuu. It sounds like you may be one of these folks looking to
dress up for your stellar adventures, especially on a very special commemorative date that just happens to take place on the 4th of May every year. I've personally been among those who have wielded intergalactic gear during my time on the planet (albeit only that which Obi-Wan Kenobi would consider to be a more elegant option), and I'm happy to share what you might expect with what you're currently planning to bring to Batuu:
With this in mind, it's not too late to consider different options and perhaps convert that holster into a pouch - just to avoid any disappointment as you make your way into the theme parks. Note that guests over the age of 14 may be subject to additional scrutiny based on what they're wearing, just as long as it's considered acceptable by the Attire Polices in place at Walt Disney World Resort. If I can also offer you any advice from one spacefarer to another, these intergalactic celebrations - whether grander in scale or perhaps more contained - always seem to include a pivotal moment where everyone activates their lightsabers together as one and the chills that you'll feel like the rippling of the Force during this moment are definitely worth ditching a blaster for in lieu of a lightsaber of your own!
May the Fourth be with you!
