How do you handle a bed wetting accident.? Usually non issue but the thought has been in the back of my head with all the excitement and disruption in normal schedule. Thanks

    Hi, Bonnie!

We have actually had to deal with this in our family while on a Disney Cruise, and we simply brought along those measures that we take while at home to avoid the mess and embarrassment. We put the child in the overnight disposable under wear each night, and/or I packed the waterproof twin sheet for the stateroom host/hostess to make up with the child's bed. I explained the situation to our hostess upon arrival, and she actually took the sheet out to be laundered, brought it back and made up the bed with it the night after an accident.

You are right to think about it before you sail because it does make for an uncomfortable situation -- especially in such close quarters with the family. My little one was off the schedule and usually consumed more sodas than normal. Plus, the entire family was out like a light once we were in for the evening. Oh, and speaking of light...you might want to pack a little nightlight so that anyone who wants to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom can see their way. Remember to tuck things like suitcases and shoes under the bed at night so as not to trip!

I hope this helps and please let me know if I can be of further assistance to you. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
