Hi there, Cuc!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. Navigating Disneyland can be challenging, but I’m glad to tell you that there are several options available! At
The Happiest Place On Earth,
everyone is welcome.
Firstly, Disneyland offers a
Disability Access Service (DAS) pass, which allows guests with disabilities to schedule return times for certain attractions. This allows you to avoid waiting in long lines, and instead come back at a scheduled time when the wait is shorter.
Cuc, I see that you were planning a visit for next month. I just wanted to let you know that you can pre-register for the Disability Access Service (DAS) between 2 to 30 days before your visit. To make sure you get the best experience, I recommend starting the process with
a live video chat with one of the Cast Members now, while you’re in that sweet spot. The Cast Member will ask about your needs sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on any assistance that you may need for your adventure.
If it's better for you to call Disability Services, you can do this at (407) 560-2547, or send an email to
disability.services@disneyland.com , those options are also available.
Secondly, Disneyland also offers
wheelchair and mobility scooter rentals, which can help you move around the park more easily. These rentals can be reserved in advance, or obtained on a first-come, first-served basis at the park.
Finally, it is important to communicate your needs and limitations with the park staff. Disneyland has a team of Guest Relations staff who are trained to assist guests with disabilities, and who can help you navigate the park and access the resources available. By being upfront about your needs and asking for help when you need it, you can ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience at Disneyland.
Have you downloaded the
Disneyland Mobile App yet, Cuc? It's essential as you'll need it to scan your theme park tickets upon entry. But also, your
DAS Advance will be linked to your account, which is where you'll select return times for attractions throughout your day. It's a good idea to get familiar with the app before your visit so you and your guests can have a blast.
One of my favorite things about this app is the ability to place
mobile orders for meals, snacks, and beverages. This means you won't have to wait in long lines for food and can stay one jump ahead of the crowds when you're ready to eat. So be sure to download the app before you go and make the most of your Disneyland experience!
Ta-ta for now, my friend! And remember, if you need any more help, just
bounce back to me here. It’s always my pleasure to offer any tips and tricks you may need.
