Do handicapped people in wheelchair get in different lines on rides and is waiting times less time?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carla!

Walt Disney World Resort does its best to accommodate all Guests to make sure everyone experiences the most Magic possible. This is especially true for Guests with Disabilities. For the most part, those Guests who rely on a wheelchair or ECV will remain in the regular standby queue while waiting to board an attraction, and then the Cast Member at the front of the queue will direct them where to go when it’s their turn to board. Of course, you can also use your three complimentary FastPass+ reservations to cut down on your wait time for some of the more popular attractions, but the process will be the same once you reach the front of the FastPass queue.

I would recommend checking out the list of attractions that require Guests to transfer from their wheelchair in order to experience the attraction versus the ones where the Guest may remain in the wheelchair to give you an idea of the options available for you and your Party. On this page you'll also find the contact information for the Disability Services team who can offer additional help and information.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful time visiting Walt Disney World Resort, Carla! Please let us know if there are any additional questions we can answer for you.
