Hi Gianna,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! Disneyland works hard to ensure that everyone can access the Happiest Place on Earth, regardless of their needs. The Disneyland Resorts has a full site dedicated to outlining the
accessibility features and services that can be found across the resort.
Parking for guests with disabilities is available throughout the Disneyland Resort. Guests who require a valid disability parking permit must still pay the
standard parking rates (with the exception of
Magic Key discounts on parking).
When you arrive at any of the parking lots, be sure that your parking placard is clearly displayed. At the toll booth, ask the Cast Member for directions to the accessible parking area. Cast Members throughout the parking lot will be able to direct you to the appropriate location to park your vehicle. If you are in one of the smaller outdoor lots, follow the signs that indicate the accessible parking spaces.
Once you park, there is a tram that will take you from the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures to the Esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. If you have a mobility device like a wheelchair or an ECV, you and your party may be able to use the Shuttle Service transportation to the Esplanade. If you are parking in the Toy Story parking area, there are buses that take guests to the Main Entrance Esplanade. The buses can accommodate most mobility devices.
I hope this information is helpful, Gianna. I hope you can join us in the parks real soon! Disneyland Resort has a lot of amazing
events coming in 2025, especially with this year marking the
70th anniversary of Disneyland. Some incredible new experiences are on the way. If you have any other questions or need help planning, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share our thoughts.
See you in the park!
