I am 62 and handicap and am not able to stand for a long time. Do they rent wheelchairs??

    Hi Cheril,

Are you getting excited for your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth? Disney Parks Blog recently shared an article highlighting Seven Ways to Make it the Most Magical Summer at Disneyland Resort, and if you weren't already counting down the days until you're soaking up the magic and fun, you will be after you read that! There are so many incredible experiences to look forward to!

I'm happy to share that yes, there are wheelchairs available to rent just east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance and at the Pixar Pals parking structure. Because it's not possible to reserve them, I'd recommend arriving early to be sure you'll have access to one. They currently cost $15 per day plus a refundable $20 deposit, although prices are subject to change. A family member of mine usually rents a wheelchair due to difficulty standing and walking long distances, and we've found this handy dandy list of which attractions require transfers helpful as we're planning out our day. I hope it's helpful for you, too! Want one more tip? If you end up parking your wheelchair occasionally, you may find it beneficial to bring a brightly colored ribbon with you, too. You could tie it around the handles or arms so that it's easy to find which one is yours since all of the daily rental ones look the same.

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Cheril, and have a truly magical Disneyland Resort adventure this summer!
