Is hand sanitizer and hand lotion allowed in the parks?

Greetings, LuAnn, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always love helping my fellow Californians as they prepare for an exciting adventure at the Disneyland Resort

It’s always a good idea to check the Disneyland Resort Rules to “know before you go!” The Resort Rules have been updated lately, with several important changes regarding strollers, smoking, and loose ice. But, I’m happy to report that hand sanitizer and hand lotion should be just fine. I’ve brought travel size hand lotion and hand sanitizer in my diaper bag before, and had no problem. You will be stopped at a security checkpoint prior to arriving inside the parks, so be prepared to open any bags or backpacks prior to passing through the metal detector. If in doubt, always check the Rules page for all the latest information.

It’s such an exciting time at the Disneyland Resort right now! From the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, to new attractions such as Mickey’s PhilharMagic and the upcoming opening of Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, there’s always something new to explore! This summer will definitely be one to remember!

Please stop by with any additional questions you may have. We’re all EARs here at the Moms Panel, and we look forward to helping you plan your next getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth!

    See ya’ real soon,
    Kristin

As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A.
