Boo to you, Katherine! We're in the midst of
Halfway to Halloween celebrations here at planDisney, and excited to welcome you to join in the happy haunting of spooky season along with us!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party combines tricks and treats at Magic Kingdom Park for party-goers and is one of my favorite special events to attend! The transformation of Main Street, U.S.A. into a festive fall scene with Mickey-shaped pumpkins greets foolish mortals as they enter the party, and the fun continues with special character meet and greets,
entertainment,
spooky snacks, and
ride overlays. There are even some
new surprises in store for 2024, making this year's event even more enchanting!
When you arrive for the Halloween party, you will enter using a separate admission line specially marked for Guests with party tickets, so whether you have entered another park that same day or not, your party ticket will be recognized when you arrive and scan in for the event. Once you have scanned in, you will receive a party wristband to wear for the remainder of the night so that Cast Members can identify you as a party guest!
When I attend, I usually prefer to sleep in that morning and then enjoy a late lunch before checking into Magic Kingdom as close to 4 PM as possible. Last year, my friends and I enjoyed pre-party dinner and drinks at
Steakhouse 71 in Disney's Contemporary Resort and then walked over to the park entrance just before admission time. We did find a line had formed when we arrived, but it moved quickly and we were on Main Street, U.S.A. by 4:15 PM, ready to party!
While you're at the party, be sure to take it all in - I love seeing the characters in their Halloween costumes and capturing special seasonal Magic Shots with the
PhotoPass photographers throughout the night. Of course, you don't want to miss
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. Both of these are exclusive party events that will delight all of your senses and immerse you in the magic of Halloween!
I know you're going to have a spooktacular time this fall at the Halloween party, Katherine! If you have any other vacation planning questions, come back to
planDisney and let us know! We're always happy to haunt - I mean, help you out!
Happy Halloween,
Alison
