How ya doin' Lindsey and welcome to planDisney!
Well, it's official. Spooky Season at the Walt Disney World Resort has got the magical greenlight! That's right, tonight is the first
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the year and the first one since the reopening of The Most Magical Place on Earth. The Sanderson Sisters have lit the black flame candle and will be putting spells on Guests left and right at the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular and my head is going to be turning left and right as I search high and low for Max from A Goofy Movie in his Powerline costume. But what to do if you don't plan on attending the party? Don't worry I've got you covered!
On nights when the party is going on, Guests that haven't purchased tickets will need to exit
Magic Kingdom Park by 6 PM so the festivities can get underway at 7 PM. On those nights, the only fireworks display will be
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular which will be viewed by party Guests only. But there is still a way to see something spectacular. As if there weren't already enough reasons to upgrade your
Theme Park Ticket to include a
Park Hopper Option, party nights are a great reason to hop on over to EPCOT. Grab yourself a treat from one of the Global Marketplaces of the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and find yourself a good spot to watch Harmonious. This nighttime experience is definitely a must-see for the entire family. I know I can't wait to be looking out over the Seven Seas Lagoon in awe at all that magic with my family next month.
Lindsey, when you make your
Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System, take a good look at which dates are also party nights. With a little strategy, you can still make that Magic Kingdom Park Reservation for a day where it is operating within its normal hours. If you have any other questions about how to make your fall visit the best one yet,
come back and see me. I'm happy to help!
Happy planning!
