Hi Maryann!
Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for you to have the most spooktacular time at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This seasonal event takes place on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park. If you choose to enter Magic Kingdom Park only for the party that evening, you will only need your Party ticket. If you plan on spending the earlier part of the day in Magic Kingdom Park, then you will need a regular park ticket that morning as well. Later that evening when the party starts, you will just need to show your Party ticket for a special wristband allowing you to enjoy the frightfully fun festivities if you area already in the park.
We found that on the day of the Party, we really liked spending the morning and afternoon enjoying Disney Springs and the amenities of our Walt Disney World Resort Hotel so we could be rested and energized for our ghoulishly delightful evening. This also gave us plenty of time to get ready and put on our costumes. If dressing up is one of your favorite parts of this event like it is for us, make sure you do check the
costume guidelines first. Be prepared for many treats and even some tricks with some devilishly fun Character greetings and entertainment, plus one of the most beloved parades, the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade.
I hope this helps, and beware of hitchhiking ghosts. Happy Haunting!
