    When does Halloween in the Park start?

    Hi there Evelyn, welcome to planDisney!

    Fall and Halloween time is such a magical time to visit the Disneyland Resort, it truly is the start of the Holiday season!  There has not been an exact date announced yet, but usually the Halloween decorations start right around Labor Day in September or shortly after.  I cannot wait to see the pumpkins on Main Street, U.S.A., and what kind of Halloween treats will be offered!  

    I would keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the official announcement, they really are the best source for news and happenings around the Disneyland Resort.  They will also be the place to learn about when Oogie Boogie Bash tickets will go on sale!  Oogie Boogie Bash is a separately ticketed Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park which is a family-friendly event that includes after-hours park access to trick-or-treating, photo opportunities with some of your favorite Disney villains, and of course festive entertainment and food!
