Boo to you, Alyssa!
The fall is my favorite time to take an adventure at sea, thanks in large part to all the fun Halloween on the High Seas voyages we have done. Nothing quite like seeing amazing holiday decorations everywhere, from jack-o-lanterns on the portholes to the festive Pumpkin Tree in the Atrium.
Sounds like you are already aware that Halloween activities and offerings can be subject to change and may vary by ship and itinerary.
While some modifications have been made to seasonal offerings, Disney Cruise Line is still working really hard to keep the magic alive onboard! At last check, the following events have been featured as part of the
Halloween on the High Seas voyages:
-One of the highlights of this SEAsonal cruise is Mickey's Mouse-querade Party, where games, dancing and beloved characters dressed in their Halloween outfits get Guests in the holiday spirit. That’s an excellent time to wear your costume, too!
-Get ready to say “Season’s Screamings” during the movie experience of Tim Burton's
The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream, followed by special appearances by Jack Skellington and Sally.
-I’ve heard tales that there will be Haunted Stories of the Sea. During this campfire-style storytelling experience on deck, expect to hear ghost stories (family-friendly of course)!
-Just so you know, Halloween candy will be delivered to your stateroom as opposed to in-person trick-or-treating.
I’d just say go in with costumes packed and an open mind and you’ll be just fine. Then, once onboard, check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see when special activities and entertainment are scheduled.
Alyssa, it won’t scare us if you come back by planDisney with more questions. I promise all treats and no tricks! Wishing you a spellbinding adventure at sea.
