Howdy, Hayley! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort takes place from September 7 through October 31, 2018, and with it comes beautiful fall décor, special overlays on a few attractions, and Mickey’s Halloween Party on select nights.
Mickey’s Halloween Party requires a separate ticket and on nights when the party takes place, Disneyland Park will close early to Guests who do not have tickets for the event. However, Disney California Adventure Park and the Downtown Disney District will remain open.
So if you happen to have Park Hopper tickets, you could most certainly enjoy Disneyland Park throughout the day and then hop over to Disney California Adventure Park for dinner and perhaps to see the Paint the Night Parade. Or you could enjoy the evening in the
Downtown Disney District shopping and dining or even bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes.
If you do end up
purchasing tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party, you certainly won’t be disappointed! There is exclusive entertainment like the Frightfully Fun Parade and Halloween Screams Fireworks, chances to meet rare characters and villains, and you even get to trick-or-treat around the park in costume. Plus, as an added bonus, downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos captured during the party are included with your Mickey’s Halloween Party ticket.
I hope this helps. Have a fabulous time at the Spookiest Place on Earth!
