Are there any Halloween activites Nov.1, or all they all done by 10/31? Typically how large are crowds following Halloween?

    Sarah:

Having been to Disney last Halloween, Easter, and then just last week, I can share the good news: the crowds are very manageable compared to Spring Break and Easter Weekend!  I'd say a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10!  (It's just an educated guess, but schools are not out typically at the end of October, so the crowd levels are no match to what you'd find during the summers, Spring Break or Christmas Break, when many families chose to vacation.)

The Halloween decorations did not come down overnight last year, but the last Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party was on October 31.  With that said, Halloween is on a Saturday this year, and so some resorts (like Fort Wilderness) may have activities over the entire weekend--but at this point, it's too early to know.

My suggestion would be to call your resort 90 days out (first of August) and ask what activities they may be scheduling for the weekend.  You didn't mention the resort you were considering, so just call Disney's general number at: (407) 824-3421 and they can give you the direct line to your resort.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
