Half my family arrives one day prior to the other half. For fastpass, are our only options to either book on our separate 60 day windows OR book on the later 60 day window together? MDE is saying I can book on the earlier date, but I arrive a day later.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amber!

As a Guest at an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you’re able to book your three complimentary FastPass+ experiences up to 60 days in advance of your check-in date. If other members of your family have a later check-in date, you will need to make those reservations at their 60-day mark if you want all of your experiences to be together.

To ensure that everyone in your Party can share FastPass+ reservations, make sure you’re all connected via your Family & Friends list in your My Disney Experience accounts. This way one person can book all of the experiences for your entire group, but you also have the flexibility of booking independently.

Here’s a little pro tip: if you’re having trouble securing a FastPass+ reservation for your large group, have one person make a reservation for half of the group and another person make a separate reservation for the other half. Sometimes when we’ve done this our times don’t line up exactly, but as long as there’s some overlap for our windows, we’ve all still been able to experience the attraction together at the same time.

As you continue planning during the final weeks leading up to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please let us know if you have any additional questions we can answer for you. We’d love to help you maximize your Magic!

We hope to see you real soon,
    Amy
