    Half a day or Full Beach Day at Bahamas Blue Lagoon? We are traveling with 4 kids (11, 8, 5,1) we are trying to understand the differences with the full day and if half day is enough and how much beach time it will allow (reducing the ferry, etc)..

    Thanks for sailing to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You and your pirate crew are going to have an adventure of a lifetime during your upcoming Disney Cruise to paradise! Choosing which Port Adventure to book is one of my favorite parts of the planning process. I'm happy to give you my opinion on the the excursions you're thinking of booking!

    A day at Blue Lagoon Island while the ship is docked at Nassau is my idea of paradise! The Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day and the Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day - Half Day excursions will allow you and your family time to enjoy the gorgeous sand beach and a visit to the marine habitat to observe the playful animals! The full day excursion will give your family a little more flexibility in how much time you spend on Blue Lagoon Island; your family could spend either 3 1/2 or 5 1/2 hours there. If you think your family will only want to spend a little time exploring the island and enjoying the ocean, the half day would be a great choice!

    In my opinion, I'd choose the full day on Blue Lagoon Island! Spending the day playing on the beach, watching the dolphins, sea lions and stingrays at the marine habitat and visiting the gift shops will give you a full day of activities!
