When is hakuna Mata dance party scheduled for march

Hi Wendy! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're always happy to help with your vacation planning needs.

It sounds like a visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is on your itinerary this spring. With so many new things to see, do, and taste at this park, you're sure to have a wild good time! Unfortunately, the Hakuna Matata Dance Party, which was part of the theme park's celebration of the 25th anniversary of the release of Disney's The Lion King, ended in September of 2019.

I am pleased to inform you however, that all is not lost for fans of Simba and his gang. Some of his friends are still lion around Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Timon and Rafiki are available to greet guests at the Character Landing on Discovery Island. Consult a times guide upon arrival to find out exactly when you should swing on down.

If it is high-energy live entertainment you are hunting for, you will find a variety of fantastic offerings at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I recently had the opportunity to experience Rivers of Light: We Are One, and I really enjoyed this re-imagined evening show that celebrates the majesty of nature. Be sure to catch that show and Tree of Life Nighttime Awakenings as a perfect end to your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

I hope you have a fabulous spring vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort, Wendy! If there is anything else we can do for you before your adventures begin, come back and see us anytime.

    Hakuna Matata!
