Royal greetings, Stacey!
Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for bringing us your question about offerings at
Disney Springs. It looks like your magical Walt Disney World Resort holiday begins in just a few days! Stacey, I'm here to help ensure you have a most memorable experience at
The Most Magical Place on Earth.
I vividly remember having my hair wrapped as a child in the early 2000s. Hair wrapping is a fun way to express oneself and makes a unique souvenir to commemorate an extra-special vacation! Stacey, after speaking with a few Cast Members, it seems that there are no hair-wrapping kiosks at Disney Springs at this time. (As my friend,
Nimmy, recently advised, third-party hair-wrapping services may be available from time to time at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort or
Disney's Pop Century Resort.)
Stacey, if you'd be interested in a more "semi-permanent" souvenir, you'll find face-painting and henna tattoo art offered at
Enjoy Your Face at Disney Springs! One of my personal favorite souvenirs and "must-do" experiences at Disney Springs is picking a pearl from a live oyster at the
Pearl Factory kiosk. For a small fee, you'll be able to choose an oyster and have it ceremoniously opened to reveal a beautiful surprise pearl! Guests are then able to choose a jewelry setting for their keepsake or can opt to take home the loose pearl. Stacey, a similar experience is also available inside the Mitzukoshi Department Store in the Japan Pavilion at
EPCOT. Unlike a hair wrap, face paint, or henna artwork, a pearl is a souvenir you can treasure for a lifetime - just like your vacation memories!
I hope that you've found this information, Stacey. I wish you and your family safe travels and an enchanting stay at The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any additional questions before or during your holiday, please feel free to revisit us at
planDisney anytime. We're here to help you achieve your practically-perfect, pixie-dusted Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Magic awaits,
Lauren
