Are there hair straighteners available to hire in WDW Resort Hotels please?

Hi Hannah! My fellow Moms Panelists know all too well that Disney Mom Kaylene and I can't leave our resort room without straightening our hair in the morning, so I'm definitely the right person to help you with your hair question! While the Disney resort front desks do have some items available to loan to guests, I don't believe hair flat irons are available. You can, of course, visit the beauty salons found at some resorts and pay to have your hair styled, blown out, or straightened. If, however, you're like me and the Florida humidity requires that you straighten your hair frequently, it's best to bring your own tools. I know some overseas guests sometimes have issues with their flat irons failing to heat up due to different voltages in the U.S., so make sure that your straightener is a dual voltage one. If you have an older model that isn't dual voltage, you may want to pick up one that will work in America. Many British guests order a flat-iron from a website like Amazon.com and have it sent directly to the resort, or if you'll have a car, you could pick up an inexpensive one at a store like Wal-mart. Some of my fellow panelists also get Keratin treatments before their vacations so that their hair doesn't require straightening, so that might be an option too.

Wishing you a frizz-free vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
