Hi Suzanne!
Welcome to planDisney! It looks like you're approaching the checkered flag on your countdown to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I'm sure you're busy packing those mouse ears and all of the other essentials for your trip, so I'm going to channel my inner Lightning McQueen and get you your answer faster than fast and quicker than quick! Ka-chow!
Suzanne, you'll be happy to know that hair dryers are available in all rooms at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. You can usually find the hair dryer in a bag on one of the shelves located under the sink. In addition, you'll also find a Keurig Coffee Maker (with a supply of K-cups included), a small beverage cooler, some bath products (shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hand soap), and an iron and ironing board included in your room. I hope this helps as you plan your packing! I always like to leave some extra room for my favorite Mickey souvenirs when I'm heading home!
Before I leave, I just had to share a few of my favorite spots at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I stayed here a few years ago during a runDisney race weekend and found the property to be gorgeous and the perfect place to relax. I spent a lot of time at the
pool that weekend as well as lounging in the chairs that lined the lakeside - so peaceful! We had a great dinner at
Rix Sports Bar & Grill, but there are also several other
dining locations at the resort to check out if you're in the mood for something else. There are also two unique art experiences offered here as part of the
Enchanting Extras Collection - a
Spanish Mosaic Art class and the
Colors of Coronado Painting Experience. I haven't had a chance to do either one yet, but they are definitely on my wish list for a future trip as I've heard wonderful things. I think they are both reasonably priced for the experience and the unique souvenir you can bring home. I did a quick peek and it looks like there is some availablity still for next week so you may want to check it out if your schedule allows!
Suzanne, I hope you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please feel free to stop by planDisney to see me and my panelist pals again if you have any other vacation planning questions in the future!
Cheers,
Kristi
